This shop is much more than meets the eye from the street. Once inside, you realize how deep it is and when I say deep I don't just mean physical length of the shop. The wines in this place are amazing, I counted over 80 different Pinot Noir, many of them local, which is fitting I suppose as the shop is owned by two local guys (Jason and Brian are great). It doesn't stop there, excellent French and Italian sections complete with names like Gaja, Sassicaia, Solaia, Dal Forno Romano, Chateau d' Yquem, Domaine Dujac, Bouchard Pere & Fils, Domaine Comte Georges de Vogue, Dom Perignon, Krug, Vueve Clicquot and the list goes on and on. I have live in Santa Barbara all my life and have only now discovered this hidden gem. Seek out The Liquor & Wine Grotto you will be glad you did.
