The Human Performance Center offers multidisciplinary treatment, rehabilitation and preventive services. We offer these services for orthopedic and sports injuries, neurological, cardiovascular, pulmonary, vestibular, and womens health problems. Orthopedic and sports injury care includes treatment for muscle, nerve, ligament, joint and bone injuries, including post surgery, of the neck and back, shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, ankle and foot. Neurological care includes treatment for movement disorders, imbalance, Parkinsonism, multiple sclerosis, stroke and other conditions. Cardiovascular rehabilitation services are provided with the assistance of EKG telemetry monitoring for heart attack, post angioplasty and stent insertion, post coronary artery bypass surgery, congestive heart failure, valveular heart disease, pacemaker and post ablation procedures. Pulmonary rehabilitation is provided for COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease), pulmonary fibrosis, and other lung disease problems. Vestibular physical therapy is given for dizziness problems including BPPV (benign paroxysmal positional vertigo), motion sensitivity, and other problems with assistance of a computerized NeuroCom as one object parameter. Womens health problems treated include; pelvic floor pain and dysfunction, incontinence, back and sacroiliac pain, and post partum rehabilitation.
