I was having incontinence issues where I would stand up from working at my desk and immediately had the urgent need to urinate, I could notn get to the restroom quickly enough. I was using at least 3 pads per day, and my life was centered around the location of the closest restroom.
Dr. Trofimenko patiently explained all of my options. I started out on a medication which helped quite a bit, but ultimately decided to proceed with the Interstim implant. That ended up being the perfect decision for me. I rarely use a pad any longer, and am able to resume all normal activity without the constant worry.
Having the implant gave me my life back!

Dr T. listens very well to the issue, asks questions that get right to issue and recommends a procedure to deal with the issue. She found the root cause of my issue that was actually 2 fold and addressed both issues. She was very responsive to my needs and sensitivities.

i had a good experience with procedure, easy recuperation and good information to make the recovery easier. i was nervous at first. never had surgery. but she made it easy. an excellent doctor.

Dr. Trofimenko really listened to my issues and my history and was able to get me the right treatment for my frequency, pain and frequent UTI's. The recommended treatment was exactly what I needed. Its never easy seeing a Dr. about ED but this Dr. is exceptionally good at what she does. She asks all the right questions and makes a very uncomfortable topic be much easier to deal with. Her bedside manner is amazing. Some people are just very good at what they do and Dr. Trofimenko is one of them.

I originally came in for bed wetting, I didn't feel it at first. I called my PCP and she recommended Dr. T to me. I came in and explained to her what was happening and she offered the UroLift treatment. It was a painless treatment and I am very happy with the results. I thank her for it.

Dr Trofimenko is very caring and professional. I have seen definite improvement in my ability to void after having Urolift.
I have had minimal side effects from Urolift and would recommend it to anyone with BPH as the least invasive of treatments. Pro-nox is a must have, it minimizes discomfort during the procedure.

Surgery was successful, and was able to remove catheter within a few days.
Post-surgery bleeding quickly reduced, but had multiple bleeding reoccurrences when attempting vigorous walking for exercise. However, this was finally controlled when I began to wear an athletic supporter/jock strap rather than normal underwear.
Urine flow is strong now, with little to no leakage after finishing.
I am very glad I did this, but would counsel others to use an athletic supporter when exercising post-surgery.
