The Planning and Building Agency s building division provides guidance for new construction projects. The building division is also responsible for the grant of building permits. In addition, the Planning and Building Agency works for the improvement of neighborhoods through its community preservation division. The agency s planning division is responsible for the maintenance of the city s general plans and zoning documents.
