Sanger High School is an educational institution that offers a range of academic and extracurricular programs for students in grades 9 through 12. It follows the educational assessment guidelines of the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS). The school provides classes in English language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, economics and foreign languages. It offers membership opportunities for the University Interscholastic League, which is a voluntary nonprofit organization that oversees educational extracurricular academic, athletic and music contests. Sanger High School organizes powerlifting, golf, baseball, tennis football and softball tournaments and matches. It additionally maintains yearbook, drama, science and Spanish clubs. The school is a part of the Sanger Independent School District, which governs elementary, middle and high schools.
