West Lee Middle School is located in Sanford, N.C., and is part of the Lee County School System. It provides educational classes to more than 1,000 students in grades six through eight. The school offers a wide range of courses, such as math, science, social studies, language arts, English, visual art, technology, music, health and physical education. The school has a media center that provides online encyclopedias, databases, facts and statistics, and dictionaries and thesaurus to its students for additional resources. It offers various extracurricular activities, including band, orchestra, dance, theatre arts and visual art. West Lee Middle School offers a variety of athletic activities, including as basketball, volleyball, softball, cross country, soccer, and track and field.
