Back to basics (B2B) is located in Sanford. North Carolina. Truly in the heart of north Carolina. We SEE patients from 15 NC COUNTIES. DR. Patterson. OUR medical director. Owner and sole physician has 34 years of private practice experience. HE has been responsible for starting And/or working with 6 different medical practices. 5 AS medical director. HE has practiced in HIS Hometown of Sanford since moving back to Sanford in 1981. DR. Patterson started back to basics AS a NEW practice a year AGO. Though HE HAD explored the concept for many of the past TEN years. The current political and insurance climate made HIM fearful that the quality of care was being compromised. HE Also feared that the personalized care model was being replaced by cookbook medicine (some call this evidence based medicine) where ALL patients are supposed to BE grouped into ONE type or class. B2B treats each of OUR patients AS the individuals they are. We listen to what OUR patients have to SAY. AS we believe that both DR. P and the patient NOW form a healthcare team. Whose sole purpose is what is best for the patient.
