Hamilton Elementary School, located in Sanford, Fla., is a magnet school that offers academic classes to more than 750 students in prekindergarten through grade five. The school offers a range of academic subjects, such as reading, writing, English, math, science, social studies, spelling and vocabulary and music. The school also offers an accelerated reading program that develops students English language proficiency and academic skill. Hamilton Elementary School operates a library and media center that provides more than 11,000 books for students reading pleasure and curriculum support. It also includes a variety of books, videos, journals and magazines. In addition, Hamilton Elementary School offers before- and after-school tutorial programs. Grandview Heights Elementary is a part of Seminole County Public Schools.
