General Info
As a child I have always enjoyed taking care of and training animals. I was convinced that some day I would be a marine biologist, vet or go into zoology. Once I went to high school I realized there was other careers that didn't deal with animals, I convinced myself that a medical career would be the career for me. I went to EMT school, phlebotomy school as well as attending all the college classes to apply for nursing. I really enjoyed learning and applying all the medical knowledge I learned however I always felt as if I was missing something I decided to take a semester off of school and decide if a medical career was really the career for me, this is when I realized I needed to have a career with animals specifically dogs to truly be excited about going to work everyday. I spent hours online researching different careers with animals and one website I came across really excited me. I decided to become a dog trainer, within 4 months me and best friend my Cane Corso Cerberus where on a flight to Triple Crown Dog Academy in Hutto, Texas. I stayed at Triple Crown for 3 months learning how to train all temperaments of dogs from eight in the morning until eight at night seven days a week. Was taught by some of the worlds best dog trainers learning and applying multiple methods of training as well learning how to read and understand canine behavior. I covered everything in classes as well a private instruction from clicker training to canine aggression.
