Cedar Ridge Middle School is an educational institution that provides a range of learning and extracurricular options for more than 425 students in grades six through eight. Established in 1960, the school offers instruction in reading, mathematics, English, science, language arts and physical education. It organizes several sports activities, such as volleyball, basketball, wrestling, and track and field. Cedar Ridge Middle School operates a library that stocks various types of books and other reading and reference materials in print and electronic forms. The school also conducts parent-teacher conferences to encourage the participation of parents in several school activities. It serves sandwiches, fruits, milk, pizzas, chicken, salads and burgers for lunch and breakfast. The school is located in Sandy, Ore., and is a part of the Oregon Trail School District, which governs various elementary, middle and high schools.
