Firelands Regional Medical Center provides comprehensive diagnostic, medical, surgical, emergency and rehabilitation services for people of all ages. The center s home health services include wound care, diabetes education and medication, diet therapy instruction, assistance and care following surgery, prosthetic and orthopedic rehabilitation, regulation of hypertension, care for patients with heart problems, and assistance and instruction in activities of daily living that include bathing, feeding and grooming. It offers a variety of imaging services, including catheter angiography, computed tomography scanning, diagnostic imaging, mammography, magnetic resonance imaging, nuclear medicine and ultrasound. Its respiratory services include airway and ventilator management, nebulization therapy, bronchopulmonary hygiene, oxygen saturation studies, pulmonary function testing, patient initiated spirometry recording and nebulization therapy. Additionally, the center has been providing osteopathic medical education for more than 40 years. Firelands Regional Medical Center is located in Sandusky, Ohio.
