This is a small shop with people nice to deal with and courteous service wish more places would like this also the prices are the best you will find anywhere

I took my car to Sandston Muffler after being told I needed a Catalytic Converter by the dealer for my car. The price was good and the owner was very pleasant and helpful. I was expecting a great result because of this.



Unfortunately, he replaced the Converter and left my car even worst than when I brought it in. When I went to pick it up (5:00 pm in the evening) He had my car on and running which I thought was odd but he said he was warming it up for me (even though the weather outside was warm, 5 pm.) I just said "thanks," paid for the repair and left. About 10 mins after driving away, my car started shaking REALLY badly. I repeat, when I brought my car in it was not doing anything like that. Clearly, he was warming up my car so I wouldn't notice before I paid and left. My car was drivable before, now its virtually useless.



I was in the process of deciding to keep repairing my car or buy a new one, so I just gave up and brought a new one. I could have been mad and went back to argue, but I figured he already knew he had messed it up and didn't care. Thus, would dispute that he damaged the car. I wish I had taken it somewhere else, but you can't go back in time.



He seems to be a nice guy, good conversation but I would encourage you to shop somewhere else if you don't want a worst situation than you have now!
