What an exceptional outfitter. We have been 4 years in a row. Lodging is great, the guides are the best and the hunt is honest! No high fence, real hunting. Not everyone will get a hog on every hunt but you will be provided the best opportunity to be successful. Well run crew, can’t wait to get back next year!

This week, I visited the properties for a second year in a row. I had a blast! Blaine, Melanie, and Jesse took personal interest in ensuring that I had an enjoyable visit again this year. I will be back again and again! If you have not tried Woods-N-Water, you are making a mistake by waiting. Get a date booked with them ASAP you will not be disappointed!

From the time I inquired about a trip to the very end of the last day of the hunt the professionalism was top notch. We (my son and I) spent 2 full days of hunting. This was our first guided hunting trip. It was a gift for my son ( really me because I was able to spend so much time with him one on one so I got the best deal) and we had a great time. We pulled in Friday night around 830 or so and the weather was not good at all, wind and rain, one of the guides (Ted) checked us in and got us settled in. We were able to sit and talk with other guest until late which was very nice. We got up early Sat morning and we met the guide (Jack) who was assigned to take us around. I cannot say enough about him, he was very professional and very polite and seemed to care about our hunting needs. My son had not been successful in getting his first kill and Jack really took that to heart and tried to put us where we needed to be. Other hunters came in as others were leaving and it was nice to be able to sit and chat with all the guest at the Lodge. After two days of hunting we were not successful in getting a deer or hog but we really got so much more, I got so many memories that you cannot put a price on. We met some great people. Ms. Kim took time out of her schedule and work just to have a conversation with me, Ms. Melanie and Ms. Maryann were awesome with keeping in touch with me via email the entire time. All I can say is that I highly recommend this outfit. Thank you to all the staff for your hospitality, conversations and knowledge. What an AWESOME experience.

Just got back from a four night hunt. This is my groups 4th year. Every year has been fantastic. I can't say enough about how wonderful the guides and management are. A special thanks to Ryan, Jack, Ted and Jesse. These guys went out of their way to help in any way they could. It helps they are all awesome to be around. These guys are just really good people. They were our guides and now they are our friends. For the record, Team Ryan dominated. Thanks to Melanie in the office for all her help throughout the years with planning the trips. We just booked our 2020 trip! Can't wait to see you all again.

Brandt Burley, Blaine's (the owner) Son got us sighted in before the first night's hunt. We went out to the property about an hour before sun down and got set up on separate blinds with feeders. The first night, I started seeing eyes reflecting back from the feeder but the light was too weak for me to determine what I was seeing. I was afraid to shoot in case it was a deer. Around 9:30, I decided to call it quits and descended from the tree stand and walked toward the feeder. I turned on my flash light and right in front of me was a huge sow facing sideways that took off with the light. I fired a shot to make sure it kept going. I got the electric cart and picked up my Son at his blind. He said he had seen a hog but it was blocked by a tree trunk, so he didn't get a shot either.The next day we went into East Dublin and bought more powerful green lights so we could see better. The next night, after setting up, I heard a great crashing through the woods and saw dim outlines of hogs at the feeder. To get a better sight, I turned on my new green light and they scattered the moment it turned on, even though the literature with the light said that wouldn't happen. I still count it as a good hunt because I did see hogs both nights and so did my son. I also got to sight in a doe but it was out of season and didn't shoot.I do plan to return and plan to use new lights that can be put on the feeder to light the hogs up without startling them because they would be on all the time during the hunt.The cabin we stayed in is well appointed and comfortable for relaxing, cooking and sleeping with lots of pictures and trophies all around. We went out to eat but could have cooked there. We had a good time.
