I called the bar assoc. re: medical malpractice. I was cut off large doses of pain meds and Valium (35mg per day). I was unable to fix the problem, many md's would do nothing about it. I recently got blood work. I had to request a copy. The blood work indicates I was injured by the med cutoff. You can't cutoff a person on 35mg of Valium a day. It could be lethal and I could get no one to intervene in time before I was injured. I requested an attorney consultation from the Marin bar, and so far no one has called me back. I was referred by Marin legal aid. Hopefully they will, it has been about three or four days. If doctors and a medical system are not held accountable for conduct like this, I'm not safe...and neither are you...
