The M700 Series, a completely internally re-engineered thermometer. GLA has been manufacturing animal health thermometers for more than 40 years and has revolutionized the way animal's temperatures are taken. Our workhorse model, the M700, is a direct replacement for the M500HPDTand our earlier digital thermometer the M216. The new thermometer series will give you all of the high quality features that GLA is known for. In addition, we have added features that many of our customers have asked for: Audible beeps when the high temperature is reached, when the battery is low, confirmation when switching from Fahrenheit to Celsius, and when the battery pack has reached the recharge point. If you use a computer and are looking for a thermometer that will give you immediate input into your software program, the M750 offers a RS232 serial port and cable. Through the RS232 Port you can connect an RFID tag reader, you can store temperatures in the field and down load them into a computer, you can use the RFID tag reader and link it to an animal id and temperature, and you can also manually store a tag number ( with a computer terminal ) and link it to a temperature. The temperature and ID number are also linked to a date and time. This is a technology that we are very excited about and will offer you some true time savings in the future.
