- Dental CareThe goal of wellness or preventive medicine is to maintain optimum health in your horse. Good equine health practices include good nutrition, regular deworming, a vaccination program suited to your horse’s circumstances, and regular dental care. Know More
- VaccinationThere is a vaccine available to help protect your horse against the Equine Herpes Virus Types 1 and 4. EHV-1 and EHV-4 are two of the illnesses that the Rhino/Flu vaccination provided by The Equine Center works to protect your horse against.
- Comprehensive ExaminationThe number of treatments required for a horse with chronic back pain is dependent on several factors: the overall condition of the horse, the cause of the horse’s back pain, the severity of the back pain, and the persistence of the problem. A complete physical examination must be done prior to mesotherapy or any other type of therapy. Generally, you can expect one to two treatments, with the full effect of treatment being seen in 7-10 days.
- Parasites Treatment and ControlThe Equine Center also provides on-site farm call (ambulatory) service, making us uniquely equipped to serve all of your horses’ needs. For basic health care we offer specific vaccine protocols, deworming programs and nutritional advice for the individual horse or large farm.
- Arthritis TreatmentDegenerative joint disease and osteoarthritis are the biggest causes of poor performance and decreased competitive life span in the horse. Both young and old can be affected by joint disease resulting in a loss of athletic ability and possible early retirement.

- Equine VetThe system is designed to aid the practicing equine veterinarian for use during a normal lameness evaluation. It does not replace the skills and experience developed by the Veterinarian, it simply offers an objective, precise and accurate assessment of body movement specifically related to lameness in the horse.
