Pacific Coast Container is a full-service container freight station. The company s primary emphasis is on temperature sensitive cargoes, such as meat, poultry and produce along with import and export of general cargo. The company consists of a variety of divisions, including Pacific Coast Container Northwest, Pacific Coast Container Southwest and Pacific Transload Systems Southwest. PCCNW operates two full-service CFS facilities located in the Seattle harbor area. Trucking services are provided for the movement of containers to and from the marine or intermodal container transfer terminals. PCCSW and PTSSW provide export and import of shipments moving through the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, Calif. The company provides transloading of dry cargo, paper rolls, lumber, fresh fruits and vegetables, frozen foodstuffs, drummed cargo and automobiles. Some additional services include disposal, storage, top-offs, stamping and obliteration, cross-dock rail car transloading and palletizing and shrink-wrapping.
