Founded in 1983, the California Center for Sleep Disorders is one of the first accredited medical facilities in the United States. The center specializes in the management, diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders. It serves children, adolescents and adults with conditions, such as snoring, insomnia, sleep apnea, narcolepsy, restless legs syndrome and periodic limb movement disorder. The California Center for Sleep Disorders operates centers and clinics throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. The center provides in-lab and home sleep testing services. It also offers multiple sleep latency and maintenance of wakefulness testing solutions. The California Center for Sleep Disorders is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
