In 1972, after working the vending industry for nearly 10 years, Hal Steuber decided to venture on his own with the creation of Associated Services Company. The coffee company is the exclusive Northern California supplier of Starbucks Flavia, Tully's and Peet's Coffee & Tea. In 1992, the company decided to start bottling water, thus it started Alta Bottled Waters. Customers can choose from more than 100 selections of premium, specialty and major brand coffees, both caffeinated and decaffeinated. This also includes packages, large bags and beans. Professional services provided by the company for its clients include free installation and setup of equipment, delivery of pre-measured packages, and repairs and regular servicing. It also carries a variety of coffee break supplies, such as sugar, dairy and nondairy creamer, tea, soup, cocoa, snacks, paper products, and cleaning and medical supplies. Associated Services Company is located in San Leandro, Calif.
