they should have a server to serve a limit of, say 4 or 5 ,lobster tails per person so that more people could enjoy them.As it was, the first 2 or 3 people would fill their plates ,one even had two, with all they could find ,leaving only crab claws.

The food is very good

Great taste and truly hits the spot. All foods are super fresh and delicious. Certainly try this place out if you're in the area!

Tomi buffet is not the best, but decent. If you are very much into sashimi, it's best to try their dinner, they also have crabs and raw oyster. The down side of planning to dine in there during weekend is the wait to get in is over an hour and by the time you get a table there's another long line to get a food. This is one of the reason why I would not go here over the weekend. ALso, their restroom is a MESS!!! Lunch is good during weekdays, less crowd and easier to access. But, If you are not picky at all, maybe overall you may find this place good. To me is ok...

I have eaten at many buffet restaurants including the expensive ones in Las Vegas and Reno. To me, TOMI is the best for price / quality. Sashimi closely match with some real Japanese restaurants and you can eat as much as you like. It is located in Easridge mall and parking is plenty. You need to watch out for holidays as the waiting line is deceptively long. This indicates people are really willing to wait for the good food.

For a sushi buffet, Tomi's is pretty darn good...a cut above the previous Todai...great variety and and the fish was fresher then I had expected...my first venture to Tomi was for a co-worker's retirement weekday lunch and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the restaurant environment, the staff and the food...I say give it a try for lunch...hopefully the improvements will continue.

This place is much better than Todai. I think this is the BEST buffet that I had compared with other buffet restaurants that I went to..I would recommend this to everyone.

Really really really fresh sushi right now! A significant.. SIGNIFICANT improvement over the Todai that used to be here! A wide rage of seafood, sushi and sashimi selection and sushi rolls. I am suprised that there are some expensive and hard to fine Japanese Food too. Like Uni, fish liver, etc. everything is fresh. I really can't past the noodle bar. You can ask the chef to tailor make a won ton noodle soup, it tases better than a lot of noodle restaurants in town. Not only that, I recommended the garlic steam fresh sea scallop with clear noodle, serve in the shell. I can have 10 by myself.

Elegant interior design and great sushi with so many variations. You must try their dessert bar, the mengo mosse and tiramisu are very tasty and of excellent quality. It is a bit expensive compared with other buffet place; but with such a high quality, it is definitely worth it.
