With both Bachelor and Masters degrees in vocal performance and over 25 years of teaching and professional singing experience including opera, concert, musical theater and cabaret, I know I can help you achieve your personal singing goals. Ages teens to adults. Styles include musical theater, opera, art song, contemporary and jazz. Lyric diction includes Spanish, German, French and Italian. I believe every voice is a unique gem. Enhance the true beauty and power of your voice. If you are an advanced or professional singer I have the background and experience to help you maintain, strengthen and further develop your voice. My method ensures that the sound you produce is free, supported and beautifully yours. My technique is based on the Italian "bel canto" tradition which will support you in singing a variety of styles. Achieve clear vowel production, efficient breath management and body alignment to find the natural power and resonance of your voice. Maximize your range. Through specific and targeted exercises I can help you achieve an even registration of the voice throughout your range. Together we will choose music you enjoy singing and which will challenge and assist your vocal growth. Musical and dramatic coaching are integrated into your lessons and emphasized in studio workshops and recitals where you can try out your songs for an audience of friends, family and your fellow students.
