Located in San Jose, Calif., John Muir Middle School serves students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes English, mathematics, science, social studies, computer literacy, art, and health and physical education. Additionally, John Muir Middle School offers a variety of additional courses, such as reading, phonics, language arts, history and geography. The school has a cafeteria that serves lunch and breakfast to students. In addition, it offers various after-school programs. John Muir Middle School also operates a library and media center that offers an accelerated reader program.
