Herman (Leonard) Intermediate is an educational institution that has an enrollment of more than 800 students in grades seven and eight. The school offers classes in English, science, mathematics and social studies. It provides English Language Learners, special education and guidance counseling programs. Herman (Leonard) Intermediate features a student council and parent faculty club. The school s library media center houses a selection of books and reference materials. In addition, it hosts sessions in music, physical education, and visual and performing arts. Herman (Leonard) Intermediate offers after-school sports, extended day and remedial programs. The school is governed by the Oak Grove School District.
