General Info

Dr. Chiu received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas in 2007 and furthered her education at University of California: San Francisco to receive her Master of Science in Oral Craniofacial Science and Certificate in Endodontics in June 2012. Prior to her continued education, she practiced as a general dentist at a private general practice in Dallas, Texas where she performed periodontal, prosthodontic, endodontic, and restorative procedures. During her time at UCSF, she was the Chief Endodontic Resident from 2009 to 2012. There she gained further experience in non-surgical root canal therapy and retreatment cases, in addition to surgical cases. As of 2009, she has been a member of the Community Dental Clinic (CDC) at UCSF. It brings her great satisfaction knowing that because of this program she is providing endodontic treatment to the underserved populations in the San Francisco area.
