The Foundation owns a permanent business building located in San Jose to support the primary activities of the organization. The building houses Susan s Dance Studio, the principle venue and vehicle for delivery of its arts programs. CEO, Susan Chen is responsible for program plans and day-to-day direction of the foundation. Mission: Our mission is to provide Bay Area residents with a safe and friendly establishment, to pursue and experience the arts and healthful living as part of their daily lives. We accomplish this through enriched learning opportunities that involve a variety of life skills and arts related programs that include, but are not limited to dance, voice, performance and exercise for all ages. The Century Arts Alliance Foundations name reflects our goal to gather various arts organizations in the Bay Area with a similar vision -- to enhance the experience and appreciation of arts life in our community. Development plan, class and workshop schedule: The Foundation continues to develop and deliver classes, workshops and related activities with a newly established schedule for 2010. Based on the idea that health and happiness are the main criteria for an artistic life, we hope that these activities will help to improve the health and happiness of community members. The curriculum we currently provide through Susan s Dance Studio includes Yoga, Zumba, International Ballroom, Ladies Styling, General Social Dance, Hip-Hop and Salsa.
