I have been to many many nail salons over the years. Pretty much all over San Jose area. I have been going to Annie's Design Nail Salon now for over a year and will never change. Yung does my gel fills. They last for about 4 weeks.. Do not chip, break or anything. She is fast, personable, and friendly. The shop has a great atmosphere and all the women are good at what they do. Anthony Yung's husband brings everything together making each customer feel special and at home. They know me by sight and call me by name. I would recommend this nail salon to anyone that wants a great job on both nails and pedicures!!!!

Last week I received a great pedicure done by Wendy. I never felt rushed and Wendy was very detailed with her work. I was very satisfied with the results. The short back massage before leaving was an added bonus! I am from out of State but spend most of my time in San Jose and I will definitly return to Annie's Design Nail Salon. (O: R

A customer for over 4 years (annie was not even born yet), they are friendly, clean, but you must have an appointment, they are very busy...I would not recommend walk-ins.
I've been going to Annie's since they first opened and now i've been going less and less. The quality of the service & equipment have diminished. If you want to relax and really enjoy your experience, then Annie's is definitely not the place you want to go. Appointments are never really taken seriously and you end up waiting anyways. I've noticed that a typical pedicure only lasts up to 2 weeks ( due to cheap nail polish provided, i always bring my own Essie or OPI) and my last manicure lasted only 3 days. I'm not a big fan of the owners and they make the area seem like a Pedicure/Manicure Mill. The workers are very nice but i've noticed the high turn over, i'm assuming with all the pressure from the owners. If you want a quick & low frills manicure & pedicure, Annies is the right choice, but for relaxation and for it to last, try somewhere else.
Adequate nail service, but tools are not visibly sanitized, taken from a holder at the nail technician's station vs. from a sanitizing machine --- same goes for pedicure tools. Pedicure services are jammed into a very short time span --- sometimes there are very long waits, even if you have booked an appointment (I once waited over 45 minutes, when told it would only be a five minute wait). If you book a manicure/pedicure at the same time, they want you to sometimes get your nails done while you are trying to relax at the whirlpool spa area The girls that work there are very nice and do the best they can, but are being exploited by the owners, who I have been told do not give breaks and pay poorly. Most are new to the US, so they do not know where to go to complain that they are being abused in the workplace. Very sad.
