Please know that company refuses their tenants money then sells their tenants property at auction. This is not something that needs to be allowed to happen. Speak up if you have been the victim of a wrongful lien and sale. There are alternatives to auctioning off a defaulted tenants life. Multiple options that result in more profit than the lien and sale returns. This place is dirty. Please help stop this disgusting storage war trend by refusing to rent from storage rental providers that practice in hasty auctions. Auctions of seized units contributes to the identity theft problem that plagues America as well as having many other detrimental negative affects on the community.
Beware of this place. They practice shameful business. They steal from thier customers, they make arrangements then back out on them and they charge rediculous fees for thier service. Find somewhere to store your belongings you cant trust this place. This place has poor policy on how they conduct business. Running a business is about making money so why anyone would rather auction off a customers unit for less than they had just previously not even a week prior refused to except payment from the owner of the unit which was again more than they sold the contents of the unit for which was only 1 of 3 arranged payments that I had set up with Rightspace storage. In short they agreed to let me pay off the balance owed in 3 payments I came in with 250 which was what would have been 1/3 of the total balance and i was told they couldnt except my money because it had to be at least half of what i owed. I dont remember reading anything in any law book about a business not being able to take less than half of any bill so on top of that when i asked if they would please allow me to retrieve my Fathers ashes which were clearly marked they refused that as well. Terrible business Terrible people terrible experience. This kind disgusting treatment of people needs to stop.
I had a unit but decided to move after just 2 months. The fees are to high and after hearing a comment made by an employee to someone else in the office that did not appear to be an employee regarding the contents of my unit I became alarmed. I can not fathom why or how this woman would know what I had in my unit. I felt that this place had a security issue.
Terrible Stole my stuff and toldme they didnothing wrong. I should just deal with it because its just how things go. I WAS IN THE HOSPITAL I HAD A HEART ATTACK I COULDNT MAKEMY PAYMENT ON TIME I COULDNT EVEN MOVE OR OPEN MY EYES THEN ONLY BEING2 WEEKS LATE I WENT IN ONLY TO HAVE MY MONEY REFUSED. LOOKOUT BEWARE SCAMMERS AND BACKED UP BY CORPORATE OFFICE SO IT RUNS DEEPTHROUGH THISCOMPANIES WATERS
A google user is not a qualifying review. A business leaving fake reviews for themselves is very sad behavior. Perhaps taking the time to actually come up with a better business policy and actually implementing it to better serve renters and the well being of the community in general. The negative consequences of allowing units to be auctioned to the highest bidder is detrimental to the actual owners of the property. It causes degradation to a persons emotional and mental well being, it is a lot of the times absolutely unnecessary and fails to bring in the actual revenue a business was fairly owed by the customer in the first place. I have seen this with my own eyes a number of times. I have multiple solutions for this problem that I have put a lot of time into sharing with many different experts from many different fields ( accountants, attorneys, business professionals, leading company CEO's who work for multi million dollar companies whom are more than qualified to give an expert opinion on plausible solutions that would render many auctions unnecessary. Basically when a manager or owner of a storage service is unwilling to even consider a better recourse that safely and effectively outcomes in more money and less people having to experience all the emotional, mental and financial hardships that come along with the lien and sale of property which can never be replaced it seems to me that there is obviously a serious conflict of interest occurring in this type of " service" being offered. This needs to be addressed because it is affecting communities all over the country in so many negative ways. I understand greed to a point but what I do not understand is pointless hasty greed that brings in less money than offering a better outcome for both tenant and lessor.
Some of the staff are very rude. And if you value your property dont take it here. They are to quick to auction peoples lives awsy with a public notice. Proceed with caution.
