Great, romantic location. Took a girlfriend here twice. Wonderful food, wine, with a great view of the cable cars if you get there early (fills up fast, so do!).

Good neighborhood restaurant with friendly staff. The food was ok. We ordered olives and they were fine, albeit warmed above room temperature which I didn't like. The carpaccio was more like salami than tender slices of beef. The prosciutto wrapped melon was fine. The veal was tougher than I expected. Maybe we had a bad night, but I wasn't really impressed. If you lived a block or two away, it would be a good neighborhood stand-by but if you're looking for great italian in a city that has great italian, this isn't your restaurant.
Each course was superb. 4 diners; 4 different entrees, all delicious.
