If you ever go to "Thirsty Bear" in San Francisco to eat bring a sandwich. First problem was I couldn't make heads or tails of the menu. I finally had to ask the waiter to coach me what to get. When the food finally arrived I was so disappointed. I thought we all ordered dinner for ourselves, but that was not so. The food one-person orders becomes community property. Upon delivery, everything is placed in the center of the table. Large plates adorned with fancy swirls and sprinkles of stuff, but tiny little portions of food. Then you are presented with saucer plates to place the food on. Now, anyone sitting at the table is free to eat what you thought you ordered for yourself. This may be okay if you just want to pick, but if you are hungry or don't like what the other people ordered, too bad for you! You will be going home hungry tonight! I didnt drink any beer, but I guess if I where drunk I wouldnt care about the food. I wont be back.
