Built in 1915, 1020 Post â?? formerly the Haroldon Apartments, as commemorated on plaques flanking the entrance â?? is part of the National Register of Historic Places in the Lower Nob Hill Apartment Hotel District. Its architectural touches include a beautiful brick exterior and ornamented gate, which give way to a large foyer with gold accents and a hardwood floored lobby. Look closely and you may be able to see it in the opening scene of Venom, starring Tom Hardy, which filmed in the adjacent Hemlock Alley.
