Founded in 1890, the Telegraph Hill Neighborhood Center offers independent living and social engagement programs to individuals and families. It offers a range of skill development programs for children, youths and adults. The center supports low- and moderate-income residents. The Telegraph Hill Neighborhood Center provides services to more than 550 people daily. The organization serves people with different backgrounds and cultures. It provides a variety of preschool and after-school enrichment programs. The organization offers expended learning programs to students in grades six through eight. It provides lessons in cooking, biking and gardening. In addition, the Telegraph Hill Neighborhood Center serves senior citizens.
