First of all, BIG thank you to Stephen Eckdish! I had a very complicated case with and Order of Removal against me and at times it seemed like an impossible situation to overcome!I found in Stephen an ally and friend and am now a happy legal Permanent Resident of the U.S. His knowledge and persistence as well as not taking no for answer have helped me achieve this long time goal. Would not have been possible with another lawyer...(I had a different lawyer before). Stephen Eckdish got ICE to rescind their Order of Removal against me and opened up the way with USCIS to reconisder my green card application and to approve me! This was due to his clever investiagation, talking and writing to the appropriate people and to never giving up! Thank you again! Armin Lindegger

My husband and I consulted with two other attorneys before we found Stephen Eckdish. We started out really nervous and wary of this process since we had no idea how to find a good lawyer. We were facing an extremely high possibility of being placed into deportation during the Green Card renewal process. After our first consultation with Mr. Eckdish we felt that we were in very capable hands. He is very friendly and warm, but is also keenly analytical. During the interview we noticed that he was not only analyzing the situation, but US as well! He conducted all of this without being judgmental. He described the various outcomes of our situation in detail, and mapped out solutions to each outcome. He was extremely fair and transparent with his prices. When we had additional questions, he was always available to answer them; When we had panic-attacks, he was always there to reassure us. We couldnt have done this without Mr. Eckdish, and were happy to say that we now have the Green Card.
I hold Attorney Stephen Eckdish in my highest regard. I not only admire his legal acumen but also his compassionate, kind and generous nature. It was his humane spirit that made me open up to him regarding the domestic violence I had suffered by my former husband. Mr. Eckdish helped me apply for and obtain my U. S. permanent residence through a VAWA petition. It was a very difficult and complex case considering the lack of physical evidence available when we filed. Stephen guided me to corroborate and present the evidence from my treating physicians of my post-traumatic stress disorder and depression. He was always there supporting me and giving me hope to keep fighting. Seeing him so determined to win my case, made me stronger and more confident in my ability to fight for my rights. He was a genuine, emphatic and a highly skilled advocate for me. I wholeheartedly recommend all immigrants to retain Mr. Eckdish. He's the best immigration lawyer you will find out there!

This review is pretty long but its worth reading. I was facing deportation due to my history of deportable criminal convictions. Mr. Eckdish assisted my public criminal defense lawyer in negotiating for a conviction that would not affect my immigration pending case. I appreciated the patience Mr. Eckdish had with my ignorant and non compliant lawyer. Mr. Eckdish's experience and knowledge in both criminal and immigration law were very useful. Upon my release from state prison he took my case without being completely informed of my whole history of criminal convictions which put my case in a difficult situation. Mr. Eckdish still continued on with representing me, knowing that it was going to take more work then expected. During my four months in immigration detention, awaiting my hearing, Mr. Eckdish kept me informed with every step he was taking in preparing for my case. I felt like he was taking my case with personal interest, and believe me...that's hard to come around. On the day of my Cancellation of Removal hearing he asked and directed each questions during my testimony in winning the Judges decision on my behalf. Something that seemed impossible but yet with his dedication and by the grace of God my relief was approved. Today I am at home with my wife and son in the US. Thanks to Mr. Eckdish! I may have said a lot but believe me if you knew exactly what I've been through there is definitely a lot more to say. Thank you Stephen and your assistants for all the great work!

I am a green card holder with a misdemeanor conviction which prevented me from traveling outside of US and applying for citizenship due to possible deportation. Stephen Eckdish represented me in court and was more than successful. He was able to vacate the conviction and then he worked with the judge to have the court physically destroy all records of this case. So right now I have no record at all anywhere and am able to apply for citizenship and travel outside of US. I am extremely pleased with Mr. Eckdishs services and would highly recommend him for anyone who has a case that involves both immigration and criminal matters.

I really panicked on my case until I found Mr. Eckdish, thanks to all the positive reviews I found online. He's one of the few lawyers who actively defends non-citizens in both the immigration and criminal courts. He re-assured me the moment I met him. He analyzed the facts on my case and the potential immigration consequences. He also recommended me to seek professional help, which not only led to the case dismissal, but also helped me on various personal issues. He truly has the client's interest in mind, and an amiable person to put you at ease. I could not express more appreciation than I could imagine. Thanks you!
A very reliable attorney. Mr. Eckdish's knowledge in both criminal and immigration law helped win my husband?s deportation case. It was especially crucial that the motions he filed were granted because my husband didn?t have another other relief that would otherwise keep him in the US. With his dedication, hard work and expertise, he won the case. He is definitely someone you can count on!
This law office really knows immigration law. They are particularly good with adjustment and removal cases involving criminal law issues. They are one of the few law firms in California that defend non-citizens in both the immigration and criminal courts. They do criminal post conviction relief work in the Californiacourts as well.
