San Francisco Federal Credit Union, established in 1954, is a progressive cooperative financial institution providing its depositing and borrowing members a variety of quality consumer financial services with a competitive edge while maintaining sound growth and earnings to assure its financial stability. The credit union offers a wide range of financial products and services, with savings and loan rates that are usually better than those of a bank or a savings and loan. The credit union serves the entire San Francisco community. Individuals who live, work, attend school or worship in San Francisco are eligible to become a members, as well as the employees of the city and county of San Francisco. Immediate family members of a current San Francisco Federal Credit Union member are also eligible to join.
