Sham! Sham! I ordered my son's birth certificate. To be rushed 62.50 deducted from my zip count NEVER received birth certificate . Never got responses from e-mail . Plan go contact better business bureau. San Diego , CA

They are a sham business. The best way to get documents are to write to the City, State or County and request the information you need. Probus stole my money (it costed plenty too) and produced a poor unusable document. Furthermore after emailing them because you cannot contact them by phone, they refused to refund my money. Therefore I will be turning them in to every agency I can to try to put them out of business--

After reading the reviews, I was quite hesitant dealing with this company but I must say, I went ahead and tried my luck with them. I would just like to say that I had absolutely NO PROBLEMS at all. They were fast and efficient and I recieved my requested birth certificate 5 days after submitting the proper forms in order to recieve it. AND to top it all off, I only paid for the standard shipping.

I ordered my birth certificate from Probus Reseach on 8/24/09 and my cc was billed $51.75. I was sent a confirmation via e-mail, BUT have still not received my birth certificate. I called the company today and was told their system was down...I have reported to BBB, I am disputing the charge, and have put a fraud alert on my accounts. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

DO *NOT* send this company one cent of your money. They will take the money and you will never hear from them again, nor will you get the documents you ordered and paid for. We paid $58 for a copy of a birth certificate that was to be delivered within ten days. We faxed in all the required paperwork and since have no heard a thing from them. We never got our document, and have not received any response to multiple emails and phone calls. Most of the time the voicemail box is full so you can't even leave a message. We have filed a complaint with the credit card company used to pay for the service in order to get our money back. Save yourself the hassle and stay FAR away from this company. At best, they are unreliable and it is far more likely that they are a scammer. Our dealings with them certainly bear the hallmarks of a scam.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. I ordered a birth certificate on Birthcertificate.com (which uses probus research) and paid $20 for a rushed service. I have been unable to contact a represenative by email or phone. Furthermore, I am unable to log onto the website for Birthcertificate.com or Probus rsearch. I have left several messages and have sent many emails, I even contacted the owner personally, and have yet to hear back from anyone. Today, they sent an email stating I needed to send in an authorization form. The same form I sent the SAME day I ordered the services. They have not responded to me at all, but they have conveniently charged my credit card. The BBB has very unsatisfactory remarks for this company. DO NOT TRUST THEM, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!
