      1, 2, & 3 Bedroom Apartments / Houses Roommates & Studios Small Offices Load or Unload your Rental Truck Back in 1983, with an “old Dodge pick up truck”, Fred Wallace started a service for people moving in and around San Francisco; it really was “One Big Man & One Big Truck”. It was hard work for an honest dollar but, with Fred’s friendly personal nature, the service proved to be quite popular and before you knew it Fred needed some help. Helpers came and helpers went but two of the helpers Paul Dubois & Wolfgang Matt stood out and while still running the business out of Fred’s apartment, the three men decided to form a partnership. Be honest, keep it simple & work hard; that was the plan...it might seem a bit naïve, but you know, it seems to be working. Throughout the next few years the business grew; first an office, then several trucks, and many, many good helpers, a little discipline and a lot of organization have made One Big Man & One Big Truck Moving Company very popular. Along the way the guys have tried to give back a little by doing volunteer work with Women’s Shelters, the America Heart Association, and Beach cleaning to help our environment. This simple plan has earned One Big Man & One Big Truck the San Francisco Bay "Guardian’s Best of the Bay" award, 7x7 Magazine's "San Francisco's Best" award, and put them on the Better Business Bureau’s “Honor Roll”! We’re proud of the reputation we have earned. Our goal is to change the perception of the moving industry through honesty, simplicity, and hard work ... and thanks to people like you ... it seems to be working.
