I really can't believe that they have a 4 star rating. No, I refuse to believe it. How can that be? The prices maybe, yes, it could only be because of the prices. Certainly not the fantastic food, or the fantastic service, because those are perfection.Let's talk about the food. Have you ever had such a perfect pairing? Their tasting menus can also be paired with wines by the glass that change at each course. Oh what divine yumminess in my mouth. Chef should be commended, and then a statue should be built in his honor. Maybe there's already one. I don't know.

I recently went on a date at this restaurant and I was very much impressed with the food, absolutely fantastic! It was nice too that I was able to get a reservation so soon since it was on the last minute, but I think they had a cancellation or something, because from what I was told, you're supposed to make a reservation well in advance to be able to dine here.My date and I each had the five courses, one better than the other, if that's possible. I absolutely loved the fact that they weren't shy of showing the basket of fresh truffles to you. Those were a bit on the pricey side, but well worth it. All in all, this is my favorite restaurant in San Francisco so far!
