I have been coming to this health center for almost 6 years now and have had no issues with any of the staff or doctors, until I was assigned to
Dr. Kaitlyn R. Krauss, which has been a complete nightmare. I have joint pain in my hands and back pain due to arthritis, which has been confirmed with an X-ray that I received two months ago. The nurse called me and asked if I wanted to get an injection to relieve the pain, and I agreed. I waited for a month for this appointment, and when the day had finally come, Dr. Krauss proceeded to inform me that I would be getting the injection in my knee. I was confused by this, since the pain is in my hands, and I have had absolutely no pain in my knees.
I asked the doctor if she had reviewed my medical history, and she assured me that she had, but I was skeptical, as she was offering to treat the wrong problem area. I decided that I wanted to see a professional specialist, a rheumatologist, who was more equipped to help with my condition. The doctor rejected the request, and I had to plead with her to refer me to a specialist, as my pain was becoming unmanageable at that point. I was finally referred to the Orthopedic Department in General Hospital, after many attempts to be taken seriously.
I do not recommend this doctor because the care I received from her was extremely unprofessional and only prolonged my pain and discomfort.
