Cornerstone Academy is operated by Cornerstone Evangelical Baptist Church. Its academic program emphasizes the basic skills of reading, writing, spelling, math and communication, as well as the disciplines of science, history, social studies, music, art, languages, physical education and various elective subjects. Its kindergarten and preschool students are provided a program in English and Cantonese with teachers well versed in both languages. The first- through 12th-grade program is one of English immersion, and includes periods devoted to Cantonese, Mandarin, and Spanish, including reading, writing and speaking. Its enrichment program provides before and after school enrichment activities to broaden the children's horizon in science, nutrition, drama, sports, computers, typing, movement, art, gardening and choral singing. Cornerstone Academy is located in San Francisco.
