In her early career, she litigated cases on behalf of low income victims of housing and consumer fraud, assisted families in eviction matters, and represented inmates on death row. Kathleen later served as the Bankruptcy and Foreclosure editor at Nolo Press, where she authored several books, edited many others, and wrote hundreds of legal articles for a general audience. Kathleen's volunteer work includes mentoring two amazing young women at Richmond High School as past of a college readiness program.
