Founded in 2002, 826 Valencia is a charitable organization, offering services and resources for English language learners. Located in San Francisco, Calif., the group offers a variety of free programs and services throughout the school year and summer months, including drop-in tutoring, field trips, specialized workshops, in-school assistance and student publishing. Its drop-in tutoring program provides homework help from knowledgeable tutors. 826 Valencia also dispatches teams of volunteers into local schools to provide one-on-one assistance to students.
