In 1982 Alicia and Guillermo's son, Art Rey, opened Casa del Rey Mexican Restaurant in San Dimas. The original San Dimas location was across from Bank of America on Bonita Avenue in the quaint downtown area.In 1986 owners Art and Jeanette Rey relocated Casa del Rey just a few blocks west to the current location of 345 West Bonita, which is between downtown and the 57 freeway, across from the bowling lanes.Casa del Rey uses 100% cholesterol-free Canola Oil. All items are prepared to order. There is no lard in any of the items, including the beans and tortillas. All the food is prepared with the freshest produce, chicken, beef and pork. Casa del Rey also offers vegetarian and low carb suggestions. The chips and salsa are made fresh daily......and it is impossible to eat just one.The bartenders at Casa del Rey are trained to pour drinks using the highest quality ingredients. Casa del Rey has a wide variety of Premium Tequilas for the excellent Margaritas which come blended or on the rocks, single, double or in a pitcher, regular or with fruit, with a salted rim or not. The bartenders try to stay knowledgeable of all the latest drinks but our margaritas are the best!Casa del Rey in San Dimas offers a cozy patio which is heated in the winter and misted in the summer, a fun and lively bar, and a comfortable dining room with plenty of booths and tables. Provided by YP.comGreat place to go hang out for a few drinks and food. Good chicken tacos and they have chile verde nachos that are awesome. Place is always busy so you might have to park across the street but well worth dodging traffic to cross back to the restaurant!

Provided by YP.comWas craving mexican food and heard this place was good so we went there last night with friends to try it out. Margaritas were good which was a nice start. I had the chile colorado which was delicious.
They also have a burrito called 'La Bamba' which is huge! But looks delicious :)
Adding this to my list of favorites. Will be going back again.
