I used Take Lessons to find a guitar instructor for my son. They are very professional and affordable. Private classes were about $150 a month. They certify their instructors and run background checks on them. We also liked the Take Lessons software - each lesson is recorded in an online journal of sorts, so I can see what my son studied at each lesson and how he is progressing.
