      The Name behind the company... The Becerra Family moved to San Diego from Mexico in the year 1900, making me now a 4th generation San Diagan! Many people call San Diego a tourist town, but my family calls it home! Because of our deep roots here, no other name was as fitting enough as “San Diego Taco Company”, we epitomize the Chicano San Diego lifestyle. If you notice in our logo we represent the Coronado Bridge and the skyline as symbols to this beautiful city we live in. The Becerra family has been cooking traditional Mexican dishes here in San Diego over 100 years. Over the years of watching my grandparents, father, uncles and aunts cook, I thought it was about time I shared the love we put into our food with you all! Here at SDTC each dish is prepared with Corazon and Mexican soul! Everybody loves tacos! There’s nothing like a traditional warm soft corn tortilla filled with juicy meat, onion, a squirt of lime and hot salsa. But my vision for the company was too also offer something a little bit different from all other taquero’s and catering companies. Because of my strong Chicano influence I could not leave Tacos Dorados “Fried shell tacos” off the menu; what I believe sets us apart from other catering companies and gives us an edge to more variety and good eats!
