Kurtis Lindeman, MD, is a board-certified family medicine doctor and psychiatrist. He provides primary care for patients of all ages, including preventive care and treatment of acute and chronic diseases. Personal StatementDr. Lindeman says, Having trained to provide care for both physical and mental well-being has given me a unique perspective on health. I strive to provide a holistic approach to each individual patient that respects the mind-body balance."As an assistant professor of family medicine and public health, Dr. Lindeman is involved in training medical students, residents and fellows at UC San Diego.Dr. Lindeman completed his residency training at UC San Diego School of Medicine, where he was chief resident and was named Resident Teacher of the Year" in Family Medicine. He earned his medical degree at Medical College of Wisconsin and his undergraduate degree in astrophysics at University of Wisconsin. He is board-certified in family medicine and psychiatry.When not at work, Dr. Lindeman enjoys soccer, film, playing guitar and is interested in learning how to sail.
