Karen is a great therapist. She made me feel completely at ease with the hypnotherapy process. I was skeptical but interested in hypnotherapy, I wasn't sure if I could be hypnotized, but I'm glad to say I was wrong. Karen did a great job at explaining the entire process to me before starting our session. I was impressed with her ability to ask questions that got to the core of what I needed, so she could work with me effectively. My sessions were on stress reduction and relaxation, and I felt great after each. She included posthypnotic suggestions that were very helpful. Also, unexpected, but very helpful were the homework assignments. I have seen therapists in the past and have never had homework. I found this very helpful in maintaining my progress and to help me further explore my issues. If you are in San Diego or even the surrounding area I would recommend Karen if you are looking for a regular therapist or hypnotherapist is you are in need of one.
