Provided by YP.comI’ve only worked with Michael Howland once, and that was enough for me to see the type of person he is, and how he handles things. He avoided my telephone calls, didn’t respond to emails, and abandoned our written contract, owing me thousands of dollars. I witnessed him bully his employees and then attempt to bully me. His actions left the Family Trust, that he was Trustee of, with a Mechanic’s Lien, impending foreclosure, and a Civil Lawsuit.
When I went to the California Board of Accountancy Website, I found that his CPA license has EXPIRED.
He DOES NOT possess a current license to operate as a CPA.
Buyer Beware….
Knowing this, who would trust this guy with their personal finances or business?
My license is current and in good standing. I have never done accounting or tax work for Mark Slattery. Mr. Slattery at SDair.com was hired to install four commercial HVAC units. Upon completion, independent inspectors, engineers and roofers, determined that SDair.com installed 3 of them in new unsupported location, the electrical breakers and wire on two was of insufficient size, and the roofing work on all four was not up to industry code. In addition he left the open roof uncovered during rain which I am still negotiating with the tenant. All of this ended costing me an additional $19,000 plus. I provided him with numerous opportunities to make good, but he believes that the inspector, electrician, roofer, and Trane engineers all know less about HVAC than he does. As to avoiding his phone calls and emails, I agree. When someone just calls to complain, tell me how good they are, and not do the work, I have little time to listen.
