It also offers various services, including family support, therapeutic and counseling, family self-sufficiency, and adolescent services. Home Start has branches at several locations, such as San Diego, El Cajon, Escondido and Oceanside, Calif. The organization also has several child abuse prevention programs. It also offers youth services, including vocational training, drug and alcohol abuse prevention, counseling on pregnancy and sexual behavior, and services that help boost self-esteem and image.
