Hassan A. Haddadin, MD, is a board-certified pulmonologist who specializes in comprehensive sleep evaluation for people with sleep apnea, insomnia, parasomnias, sleep-related movement disorders, rapid eye movement (REM) sleep behavior disorder, narcolepsy, restless legs syndrome, and other sleep disorders.Prior to joining UC San Diego Health, Dr. Haddadin practiced pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine at Trios Medical Group in Kennewick, Wash. While there, he held numerous leadership positions as medical director of the intensive care unit, president of the medical staff, and chair of the credential committee. He also served as chair of the department of medicine at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, Wash.Dr. Haddadin completed fellowships in pulmonary disease and sleep medicine, as well as critical care medicine, at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, where he also did his residency in internal medicine. He earned his medical degree from Ernst-Moritz-Arndt University in Greifswald, Germany. He holds a Master of Medical Management degree from USC Marshall School of Business. He is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, critical care medicine and sleep medicine.He is a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians (FCCP) and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (FAASM), as well as a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine, the American Thoracic Society, and American Association of Physician Leadership.During his free time, Dr. Haddadin enjoys biking, soccer and travel.
