For a multi-screen chain theater the interior is very nice. Large open parlor. Screen #1 may be the largest screen left in San Diego; both by screen size and seat count. Some of the screens are small as are most multiplexes. But not as small as the screens at the AMC in Mission Valley mall & Fashion Valley mall. The theater usually doesn't get too crowded. I think people avoid it because of the difficulty of parking downtown. However, just park in Horton Plaza mall and get validated at the Starbucks or the Longs Drugs.( you can just buy a stick of gum, a postcard, or a lotto ticket). The staff is adequate..they have a zombiesque quality to them. One of the better theaters in San Diego...especially of you can catch your flic on screen #1.
