Foster Walsh represents approximately 500 privately-held businesses and professional practices in Southern California. We form, sell, buy, merge and dissolve businesses. We provide counsel for commercial transactions ; real estate leasing ; sales, employment/labor issues ; and business, financial and succession planning. When planning and negotiation are not enough, Foster Walsh provides experienced and effective litigators prepared to advocate the client's position in state or federal court, in arbitration or administrative proceedings, or in other alternative dispute resolution forums. Foster Walsh provides a similar approach to individual estate planning, recognizing the needs of business owners to protect and preserve the estate which they have usually spent a lifetime building. Confident that personal affairs have been properly arranged, our clients take advantage of new opportunities as they arise. Foster Walsh provides comprehensive estate planning, including inter vivos ( living ) trusts, family limited partnerships, business-succession planning and recommendations for gifting programs, including charitable remainder trusts and private foundations.
